Head Lice

How did you react when you found out that your child has lice? Typically, lice detection elicits an emotional reaction similar to grief. First there is the shock and denial. "How can this be? I am so clean and organized? There must be a mistake". The second stage is Anger. "I am so angry at the school, neighbor, child, husband, salon...etc. (fill in the blank). Because of them I have this lice problem. (By the way, whenever you blame other people for your problems you are totally giving away your power to them and you have essentially become a victim of circumstances). The third stage is bargaining, which sounds like this; "if this lice goes away I promise I'll never be bad again." The fourth stage is depression where the reality of the lice situation begins to set in. And finally you come to acceptance. That's when you realize that you need a lice removal professional to help you.
